Zircon (Zirconium Silicate) sand are naturally occurring, rounded sand used in foundry, ceramic, refractory and precision investment casting applications. They are essential in the production of glazes, ladle brick, wall tiles, coatings, shell molds and cores.
Zircon is used in Ceramics, Speciality Castings and various refractory applications, where its resistance to high temperature and abrasion make it extremely valuable in the manufacturing processes such as glazes for tiles and sanitary wares.

Olivine is a foundry sand used for its thermal properties and also used as a low-silica blasting abrasive. Most olivine is used in metallurgical processes as a slag conditioner. High-magnesium olivine (forsterite) is added to blast furnaces to remove impurities from steel and to form a slag. Olivine has also been used as a refractory material. It is used to make refractory brick and used as a casting sand.

Silica sand is granular material that contains quartz and minute amounts of coal, clay and other minerals. It is also known as quartz sand and industrial sand, and is largely used in several construction applications. The presence of silica sand on metal materials can be a source of crevice corrosion on those metals.

Unexpanded Raw Perlite Ore is an amorphous volcanic glass that has a relatively high water content, typically formed by the hydration of obsidian. It occurs naturally and has the unusual property of greatly expanding when heated sufficiently. Addition of Perlite Ore to the Liquid Metal coagulates the slag content in it and removed before pouring.
